The CatWalk Trust
Catriona Williams was nearing the peak of her sporting career as an equestrian rider and a contender for the New Zealand Olympic team when she fell from her horse and broke her neck. Confined to a chair since 2002, she has worked ceaselessly to regain movement and strengthen her body. She holds fast to a dream of one day being able to dance with her husband again.
Cat founded the CatWalk Trust in 2005 to raise funds in Australia and New Zealand to support and advance scientific research to find a cure for spinal cord injury.
Thomsons Trail is proud to support the CatWalk Trust. Knowing Cat, who is a relative of the family, the Thomsons are only too aware of how quickly and unexpectedly paralysis can occur as a result of spinal cord injury. They are mindful that tragic accidents like Cat’s can occur to anyone at all, under quite ordinary circumstances.
Thomsons Trail has committed 10 cents from every bottle of wine it sells to the CatWalk Trust. By buying their wines, you are helping find a cure for paralysis.
